Geogrid basic materials can be: Polyphropylene, Polyethilene and Polyesther or other polymer materials.
In general, Geogrid is a Geosynthetic material that functions as a reinforcement material in the construction system of slope and retaining walls, also serves as a stabilization of subgrade.
Based on the shape of the opening, the Geogrid can be divided into :
1. Geogrid Uniaxial, is a Geogrid that has a single opening shape in a segment
2. Geogrid Biaxial, is Geogrid that has a square shaped opening
